About Jamwelle Foundation
Jamwelle Foundation was established in July 2019 in response to the persistent marginalization, discrimination, and socio-economic exclusion of Fulbe communities, particularly women, young girls, and youth in Northern Ghana.
As a minority pastoralist group, Fulbe communities have historically faced limited access to education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and public services, alongside recurring farmer herder conflicts that undermine livelihoods, social cohesion, and security.

To address systemic discrimination and socio-economic exclusion of Fulbe women in Northern Ghana through community mobilization, capacity building, economic empowerment, social inclusion, and peacebuilding.
Our Vision
A Ghana where marginalized Fulbe women and youth live in dignity, economic security, and peaceful coexistence with other communities, with equal access to opportunities and public services.
